About Me
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic web developer based in South Africa, with more than 2 years of part-time experience in web development.

I work for businesses on a per-project contract basis, using my programming expertise to create a custom solution based on each business' needs. I love turning wishful thinking into reality.

My experience is mostly in e-commerce, but I have a great understanding of booking and blogging systems as well. No matter the task, my goal is always to leave the client satisfied.

Most websites, especially shopping websites, perform extremely poorly and use outdated technologies. For this reason I am dedicated to developing extremely fast websites with great user experience, raising the standard one business at a time.

My Philosophy & Goals
I believe in honest, quality work. I aim to raise the standards of the e-commerce industry by creating websites and solutions that are performant, reliable, fun and easy to use. I achieve this because I write every line of code by hand, not using templates or platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify or Wix.

Another benefit of custom websites is that their potential and customizability are limitless. Anything that exists can be recreated with enough developer skill.

I also aim to make websites more affordable for businesses in the "gray area" between DIY platforms and expensive agencies.

I believe that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a revolutionary and powerful tool, but it should support humans rather than replace them. LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini excel at small, well-documented tasks but struggle with complex, context-heavy development. All AI-generated code should always be reviewed by a human developer.
